Dear readers,
This issue of the magazine is devoted to the results of the National Scientific-Practical Conference with international participation "Housing and Urban Environment" held on 20-21 October 2022 at the National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and includes materials of the reports presented by its participants.
The conference, organized by the Department of Organization of Construction and Real Estate Management of the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering, brought together a representative mix of participants from across Russia and abroad: the plenary session was addressed by Irek Faizullin, Minister of Construction and Housing and Communal Services of the Russian Federation, the conference sections were attended by academics, representatives of government and commercial organizations, leading property developers and developers. The international partners of the conference were the Hanoi University of Architecture (Vietnam), Ho Chi Minh City University of Architecture (Vietnam), Private Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (Belarus), and leading construction companies in Kazakhstan.
The content context of the conference was primarily determined by the National Project "Housing and Urban Environment", the main goals of which are to provide affordable housing for middle-income families, increase housing construction, improve the comfort of the urban environment and create a mechanism for direct citizen participation in shaping a comfortable urban environment.
A wide range of scientific and practical aspects of the implementation of current challenges to housing development were reflected in the composition of the thematic sections of the conference:
Section 1 - Integrated Urban Development;
Section 2 - Housing Management;
Section 3 - Housing and Public Infrastructure;
Section 4 - Urban Renovation and Rehabilitation;
Section 5 - Digital Platforms and Control Centres;
Section 6 - Forensic Construction and Value Engineering in Housing;
Section 7 - Building Control in Housing.
The conference resulted in the formulation of consolidated proposals to develop institutions and improve the mechanisms of cooperation between the participants in the housing and utilities sector and the investment and construction complex in order to ensure the progressive dynamics of socio-economic development of the country's territories.
